  1. Hey guys, loving the game so far but thought I’d head here to give you heads up on bugs I’ve encountered. Platform: PS4 Build: v1.1.69541 What happened: In combat with any NPCs (haven’t tested on wastrels and downers) blowing the item ‘Bobby whistle’ causes the game to freeze and be unresponsive. Need to force exit from the PS home screen. Where: Inside all city areas What happened: Can’t read any later entries or statistics in journal after quest Haworth Lab. Stays stuck on the Jubilator derby note. Where: In journal as Arthur, after main quest at Haworth Labs. What happened: Cutscenes with dialogue don’t play. Have to hit skip to proceed. Where: Several occasions in different places. Medal quest at the start, superb meat boy and Lionel’s guard quest. What happened: Several crashes including unable to load a save when in the parade. where: various times and locations
  2. We Happy Few has a lot going for it including a groovy art syle, intriguing plot and characters, and engaging gameplay systems. The problem is that the game runs terribly on PS4 PRO and suffers from a host of annoying bugs and glitches, ranging from mildly annoying to game breaking. The frame rate chugs along, often dipping well below 30 fps, which is odd because I know the PS4 Pro can do way more than this game seems like it would demand. I can only imagine the dumpster fire this is on the base Xbox One. A number of quests are bugged so that you cannot complete them. Icons stay on the map even after you finish the mission, The sad thing is I am not sure if that is some sort of feature or another bug. You will get stuck in scenery and enemies and corpies will often freak out and do crazy glitchy stuff. The bottom line is this game was rushed to market because August is realistically the last month this year this game could hope to compete. it seems they felt they had to get it out. As a result the reviews are terrible and sales in turn will be terrible, threatening promised future content and patches. Its a shame because the core game itself is pretty good. I have read devs saying a patch will be along in the coming WEEKS. That really isn’t good enough. Who even knows if they will fix everything or if you will have to start a new game once (if) they actually patch this crap because old saves will probably be irredeemably broken. We shouldnt be walking on eggshells trying to pray we can get through an up to 80dollar game. I can already smell Gearbox and Compulsion trying to cut the cord on this. Sad. The devs probably wont even respond to this because they know its all true. i suggets everyone go to their retailer and ask for their money back.
  3. I am not entirely sure what I did, but I think it involved loading saves while completing the Shocking Carelessness quest. I got through every step of the quest, including activating the track access hatch, but the quest never registered completion of this step. As a result, the access hatch is powered and enabled so I cannot interact with the switch anymore, but the quest log indicates that it has not been activated and I am not able to fast travel to other hatches. As far as I can tell, the flags in the game the govern the state of the access hatch switch are out of sync with the quest flags and I do not currently see a way I can get them to synchronize.
  4. 1.So first bug is when I complete a mission for example the marker stays their for almost a whole hour until it refreshes my missions and realizes that I’ve completed those missions. 2. Mysterious chest, as soon as I investigate the chest and it says wait a day or two so I wait and then it tells me it’s ready then when I go back there to the chest the missions restarts and says again investigate the chest and so on fourth it keeps repeating I’ve tried many strategies yet it’s still bugged. 3.hive mind every time I go to the hive and try to pick up the honey comb I can’t it just doesn’t even give me the option which is very frustrating I’ve tried taking off my padded jacket then putting it back on and also many other strategies still didn’t work please try to patch this in the next upcoming update:)
  5. Firstly - I'm so happy that you managed to get the game out earlier than expected. I was gutted when I heard about the initial delay. But when Amazon told me I'd be getting it on August 10th I was beyond ecstatic. I've been waiting for this release since the initial trailer and I'm so grateful it's finally here. It's wonderful to see such an active small indie development team take on such a huge project and make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. However, there are some issues that I believe need addressing soon. Since installing and running the game on my original PS4 console (not PS4 Pro) I have encountered numerous glitches and bugs that have been really frustrating as they've harmed an otherwise incredible experience. These are the issues that I recall having in my first 4-5 hours of playtime. 1) The introductory cinematic runs at an extremely low frame-rate and the load times are incredibly slow too (however I understand the CPU must be working hard to generate every asset). 2) The first quest I found had severe audio issues and I was forced to skip the cutscene and guess how to best go about with the objective due to a lack of info. I believe this was just before entering the brawl arena before the first bridge. 3) General slowdown during gameplay and input irregularities with combat. 4) Enemies seem to occasionally see me through walls where I should hypothetically be undetected (though this only happened once). 5) Whilst infiltrating the camp with Ollie to shut down the power I somehow got stuck inside a wooden structure. I don't know if that's a clipping issue or maybe I just did something I wasn't supposed to but I was trapped and as a result, I was caught and killed. As far as I'm aware a large patch was made available on PC which seems to have fixed some bugs, many of which I most likely haven't encountered yet, and I am grateful you are doing your best to deal with these issues. I hope that there will be a patch soon to aid how the game runs as I struggle to get above 20fps consistently and it hurts as a customer to battle through these issues while I'm playing. However, I have my faith in you. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Nara.
  6. Crashes- 1. When you leave a shelter there is a high chance your game will immediately crash, not so bad because the game autosaves as soon as you enter the shelter and if you save right before you leave you wont lose the 5 minutes you spent organizing your inventory. 2. Eel Pie Holms shelter - When you hop in or out of a window your game might immediately crash. 3. Bobby whistles causes the game to crash. Bugs- 1. Frame rate drops inside major holms, 2. buildings not rendering until your stuck in the wall. 3. when wellies run in fear the send other wellies and bobbies flying 4. on the map dig spots and completed quests never get removed making it hard to know which quests are still active and what digs you have already completed. 5. Mastermind quest doesnt complete even when done. forever in the journal.
  7. The PC versión have a lot of bugs. I'm going to list them in this thread so please, correct them. It's a pity that a game like this comes to the market so poorly optimized and with so many bugs, because they detract from the great work. This is only the firts hours of game. The IA of the police is absurd: Sometimes they stand without doing their round or looking at a wall In other moments, when they kill me, i respawn in front one of then. They see me and the persecution begins automatically. It's frustrating. The overall optimization of the game is quite poor, a 1080 ti is not able to reach the stable 60fops with a resolution of 3440x1400. Same, with the version of One X, its not stable at all. There is a lot of bug with the position of the NPC and objets
  8. Was one of the first people to grab We Happy Few on Xbox Preview back in 2016 and have been waiting for the full release with intrigue. Sadly the Full version is a total buggy mess and I write this after losing 5hrs of progress due to a game breaking bug and disappointment is real right now. 1: NPCs disappear when talking to them, literally they will just vanish right in front of you. 2: Clipping - from enemies falling through the floor to finding myself under the world suddenly whilst crouching through grass. 3: Guards that instantly reset to their starting patrol positions after moving them via distractions just for them to snap back into place without them walking back 4: Train Station bug - Story mission requires you to ring a bell to gain entry back inside station only to find shutters already up with doors closed and no bell to ring - this broke my game as had to get access to top of tower but fell through the world whilst on lift only to die and respawn outside station and could not gain entry. The first update patch needs to do a lot!!
