  1. unsafe house key? does everybody fail the "get the boat key" portion of Sally's play? if not, where is it?
  2. In the Great Stink: Ok, so I had a problem with being aware that the shock grenades were available. I quit, found out, went down (it says "defeat the jubilator"), and it's not there! The jubilator is gone! "Talk to Peter Thump" causes no reaction (because I haven't defeated the jubilator)! Do I have to start a new game now?
  3. the same question.
  4. I've just finished another long-awaited indie: Subnautica. The wait was long, the "people" groused and complained. It released. What an amazing game! Here's to you guys for putting up with "us", and hoping it's as good as the aforementioned (in my opinion, as far as it's been since March '17, already IS).
  5. First of all, why did you choose to take her down. Wouldn't just avoiding her work? After all, she's busy and you are on a mission. Just creep in, with sneakers, and avoid everyone. It took me quite a few games to realize they all have a hive mind....one knows, everyone in the cult knows. Just avoid attracting attention, and go about your business.
  6. We Happy Few....addictive for drug users. Sugar, caffeine, cigarettes...and WHF!
  7. I've played the LIT update. The recipe is found (and always was) on a desk after you go under the bridge GOING TO Lud's Holm. The dead bobby will alert you. It has nothing to do with the safe house. Other than a phencyclidine syringe...NOT the recipe.
  8. "Piano Sheet Music: note, chord, note....what does this even mean?" Ok, if you say so. I also had a question about the monoliths purpose that was "diverted". Hey, imagine someone running around saying "Oppenheimer's building something that will scare the Japs in 1943!"? Got it.
  9. So, I cheated: I've noticed that when reading all lore: note, chord , note. I tried it everywhere, and found out where it's SUPPOSED to be used. But I can't find that note ANYWHERE. Is this a known bug? As developers, you know what i mean. Out of respect, just say "yea' or "nay".
  10. the board he refers to is on the outside machine (the one that you put the deliveries in) on the top floor, next to the stairs down.
  11. I have just had this problem. Same one. Plus something in my inventory is visually gone, but the space is there. Just an orange blank spot! "Pick item" it says.
  12. Ok, I'm fine with the idea that you have to build a proper suit, instead of adding to a torn suit. Good change. But does anybody think that a proper suit should alert the normal folk? I mean, I look at everybody in the villages (sans Eel Pie & Lud's) and I'm the ONLY one wearing a proper suit. Everybody else is casual. Shouldn't Arthur be at work? Wouldn't that be something to arouse suspicion? The only guy not at work, wandering around.....murder, death, kill.
  13. Awaiting WHF. Awaiting graphics amp to keep my laptop alive. Elvis Costello line.
  14. Wait until you get a break (about 4 or five meat pkgs). Then look where the machine meets the meat.
  15. Have you come across the "Blood on the Streets" quest?
  16. "maeve hastings" (Arthur's mom) is still a randomly generated name when you talk to her. It wasn't before "Technicolour". It was "maeve" I like "Harold Cream". I forget who he was before "Tech", but his new incarnation is as cool as the old(sly references) Toiletries....ha! Had to look up "Pig a pancake"...yep, that's it. Plague wastrels...a LOT tougher. the removal of the valve in the aforementioned toiletries makes it more... WHAT IS A MULTITOOL! It's not clever, or brilliant but something else not craftable. So where do I get it? I don't like making noise like I have since "Tech" came out (for Peachy)
  17. From someone who was too late for Kickstarter, but got EA in 2016. 1 I noticed that the name of the ghost was "Ann" something. And today was again something different. Isn't it supposed to be "Maeve Hastings"? It' his mom, after all. 2 The difficulty level on "Birdwatcher" has significantly (read: better) increased. I walk louder, lots more NPC's, more and different dialogues, and you know how much more. I used to breeze through the game (because of it's replayability). Now I have to check everything out again. Clearing the map, as it were. I've never used EA, I figured I'll wait for it to be complete. BUT your game is INSANE! Granted, I don't know what actually goes on into making a game. But the detail, sly references, the incredible atmosphere...and it's not finished. Here's to expecting little (pre Maidenholm), getting a LOT, and expecting more.
  18. I'm reading "how could I know it was a power cell". It was a book, actually. IoNBS.
  19. Too bad, but thank you.
  20. I saw a screenshot of this in the screenshot thread. I've reiterated the game many times now(at least 20 or 30), and played each one through, but have not once seen it. It should be noted that I play exclusively on "Birdwatcher". I like to explore and "clear the map". Am I being hosed, or is the "joy maze" only available in survival mode ("Downer" & "Vigilante")?
  21. I thought it was another "idea stated as fact"! You're right, of course. I did it once and I didn't get it, which is why I asked here. Thanx for the reply.
