  1. Hi Abby, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known issue where very rarely one of the Headboys can spawn out of world. Unfortunately there's currently no workaround other than reloading a previous save. If you have a manual save from before you triggered the issue, you should be able to continue your playthrough. We will be addressing this issue in a future patch. Cheers, Lee
  2. Hi there, This is a known issue where the Future Perfect quest may not trigger when exiting Hostile Takeover. We've fixed the issue in v1.4 and are planning to release that patch later this week, however we don't have an exact date yet. If the NPCs who trigger the quest (the Doctor and the Wellette) are still alive in your game, then the patch should fix your save game and you should be able to trigger the quest. If not, then unfortunately you will have to load an earlier save, before exiting Hostile Takeover, or start a new game. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. There is a video here showing when the quest should normally trigger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn4jMx41-VE Cheers, Lee
  3. We're currently working on a patch (v1.4) to address performance, stability and other major issues such as this. We're aiming to release it later this week, however we don't have an exact date yet. After this, we will also be addressing crashes related to low memory on the PS4 and Xbox One base consoles in v1.5. Cheers, Lee

  5. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. 1 - Are you sitting on a bench when you load into your save game? If so, when you look down and to the side, do you have a prompt to stand up? 2 - If that doesn't work, try verifying the integrity of your game cache if you're on Steam: How to Verify Integrity of Game Cache: 1. Open steam 2. Navigate to Library 3. Right-click on We Happy few 4. Select ‘Properties’ 5. Select ‘Local files’ 6. Select ‘Verify integrity of game cache…’ 7. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes. 3 - It's also possible your configuration data is causing this issue. Could you try the following (Note: this will reset your game options to default): 1. From your Windows desktop, press the Windows key + R together. 2. Type in \Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\We Happy Few 3. Delete the 'Config' folder 4. Launch the game This will clear your configuration files which might be causing issues. 4 - If you are still encountering issues please email us at support@compulsiongames.com with the following information: - PC Specifications: 1. Press Windows + R 2. Paste: dxdiag 3. Press enter 4. Select ‘Save All Information…’ 5. Attach dxdiag.txt to email Unfortunately we won't be able to load just the AutoSave file and we need the other files related to your save data as well: - Save Data: 1. Press Windows + R 2. Paste: \Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games 3. Press enter 4. Select 'We Happy Few' 5. Right Click on 'We Happy Few' and select 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) folder' 6. Attach We Happy Few.zip to email I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  6. Hi there, Bandages are used to cure the Bleeding status effect. What you're describing above appears to be the Dying State. You enter this state when your health goes below 0. To get out of the dying state, you must use Healing Balm or a First Aid Kit to heal. You can craft healing balm from Gilead Petals. These are the red flowers found in the garden district. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  7. There's been no more information provided about the issue yet, no. If you post your Gearbox support ticket number, we can follow up with them and see if there's been any progress on that request. If you haven't supported a ticket yet, you can submit one at: https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Cheers, Lee

  9. We're aiming to release v1.4 mid next week on PC, however we don't have an exact date yet. The PS4 and XBox One updates should be ready a few days after PC.
  10. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. - Are you playing on PS4, PC or Xbox One? - What version of the game are you playing? You can find this on the pause menu or main menu (bottom-right). - If possible, could you post screenshots or a video of what you're experiencing? This will help us troubleshoot the issue. Cheers, Lee
  11. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known issue where sometimes the NPCs outside the doors at the end of Hostile Takeover do not trigger the quest correctly. Have you tried returning to the exit of Hostile Takeover and does the quest trigger? If not, unfortunately you will need to load a previous save before completing Hostile Takeover or start a new game in order to progress. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. We're currently working on patch v1.4 which will fix this and other major gameplay issues. If those NPCs are still alive then the fix may be retroactive, so you could try triggering the quest after the update is released. We're aiming to release the patch later this week or early next week, however we don't have an exact date yet. Cheers, Lee
  12. Hi there, What's the current objective for Mastermind in your journal? Have you powered the puzzle using the switches and wheel in the other room? Cheers, Lee
  13. The issue of corrupt save data on PS4 is being caused by the game crashing while saving. Anytime the game crashes when a save is being updated, this problem can occur. On PS4, if the console detects that a crash occurred while the save file was being accessed then it will flag that save file as corrupt. Whether the file is truly corrupt or not doesn't matter, the console marks it as such. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this on our side, as that feature is controlled by Sony and we can't bypass it. Because the game is quite large, and world generation can drastically change memory usage, users are encountering crashes from low memory on the regular base PS4 consoles. If these low memory crashes occur while the game is saving, then that save data becomes corrupted. In Patch 1.3 we added a failsafe to prevent the game from saving while free memory is too low. This has reduced the number of cases that can occur, however it does not solve the problem fully, especially in memory intensive areas such as the Parade District where crashes are more frequent. With Patch 1.4 (upcoming), we are addressing major gameplay issues as well as various other crashes that can occur. This should improve build stability while also reducing the number of cases where a user's data can become corrupt. With Patch 1.5, we will be focusing on optimizing memory for the base consoles to fix the issue fully. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  14. Hi there, This is a known issue where under rare circumstances the conversation which starts the Future Perfect quest doesn't trigger the quest correctly. This issue is fixed in the upcoming v1.4 patch, however the fix is not retroactive. If you do not have the quest and are unable to progress inside the Arkwright building, then unfortunately you will have to load a previous save or start a new game. There is currently no workaround on PS4 or Xbox One as those platforms do not have access to the command console. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. We're aiming to release v1.4 later this week or early next week, however we don't have an exact date just yet. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Cheers, Lee
  15. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This issue appears to be caused by world generation which has created a piece of collision which is blocking the vent. There is no workaround on PS4 or Xbox One as they do not have access to the command console. Unfortunately you will need to start a new game in order to progress. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. We're currently working on a patch (v1.4) which will address performance, stability, worldGen and other major issues. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Cheers, Lee
  16. Hi there, The Old Soldiers quest is present for all 3 characters, and it is a required quest for the main storyline of Sally. Could you provide more information in regards to what you're seeing for each character? For Arthur: You can come here anytime to trigger the side quest. Simply walk up to the window by the front door and listen in. Keep in mind there are 2 houses for Arthur's version, and the bigger of the 2 houses is where the quest begins. For Sally: You come here as part of the main quest "Gland of Hope & Glory" after meeting Mikey in the alley. For Ollie: You can come here later in the game for a side quest which is started at The Odds & Ends Shop. You can only enter the house after speaking to the shopkeeper. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee

We're aiming to release it late this week or early next week, however we don't have an exact date yet. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee

  20. Hi there, On the floor of the large bedroom, where you normally pack the meat, there should be a broken eviscerator part that you can use to sabotage the machines again. If that isn't appearing, you can try the following to enable write permissions on your We Happy Few save folder. 1 - From your Windows desktop, press the Windows key + R together. 2 - Type in \Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games and press Enter 3 - Right-click the folder called 'We Happy Few' 4 - Goto Properties > Security tab > Edit (change permissions) 5 - For your user account, un-check 'Deny' on everything This should ensure the game has read/write access to the save folder. If the folder structure doesn't exist yet, create it and then follow step 3 onward. Once this is complete, you should be able to edit the Input.Ini file and save it. If you're still encountering issues, please file a ticket with our support team at <https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new> and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee

  22. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. If possible, could you post a screenshot of your pause menu? This will give us the Worldseed (WS) and allow us to check it on our side. This is a known issue where some vendors lack inventories on specific worldseeds. If you let us know what items you need, we can give you debug commands to give yourself the items on PC or let you know locations where these items can often be found. We are currently working on a patch to address performance, stability and other major gameplay issues; such as these. Cheers, Lee
  23. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. Are you still experiencing this? Reloading your save game may reset the package so it appears back in the cart: 1 - Load your save game 2 - Track the quest and see if the package is in the cart 3 - If not, save and quit to main menu 4 - Reload your game again 5 - Track the quest and see if the package is in the cart (it may reset to it's original location after the second reload) This is a known issue we're planning to address in a future patch and we apologize for the inconvenience. If you're still encountering issues, please file a ticket with our support team at <https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new> and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. 24. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. FlowerboyT, are you playing on PC, Xbox One, PS4? If possible, could each of you post screenshots or video of the issue you're seeing to help us troubleshoot the problem? A screenshot of your pause menu would also be helpful as this will give us the WorldSeed (WS), in the case that this is a world generation issue. If you're still encountering issues, you can also file a ticket with our support team at <https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new> and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. 25. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. Are you still experiencing this? Are you holding the interaction button down until the interaction completes fully? If you're using default HUD options, you should see a circle fill in the center of the screen. If the car is not being salvaged at all, even when the interaction is completing fully, this would be a new issue we haven't heard of. If you're still encountering issues, please file a ticket with our support team at <https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new> and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
