  1. Hi there, To use the Pituitary Extractor you do not need to draw it like a weapon. Instead, you simply select the item in your quickslot (press down on the d-pad until it appears). Once it's selected, sneak up behind a Doctor, Crier or Bobby and you will see an 'Extract' prompt. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  2. This is a known bug where the quest will show up in the journal again if you come back to the location after completing it. We plan to address this in a future patch, possibly the next patch (v1.5). In the meantime you can ignore the quest as it is not possible to complete it a second time. Cheers, Lee
  3. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known bug where the quest will show up in the journal again if you come back to the location after completing it. 4. If the issue is only occurring in We Happy Few, and not in other games or apps, try powering off the console and booting it again. Also make sure that the Playstation has the latest firmware update installed. If you're still encountering issues, we would suggest filing a ticket with our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new> and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  5. Hi Kate, In the game's narrative, Ollie is not very well liked in the Village. As a result he has a more limited selection of clothes in this district. To conform in the village, you can use the Maid Outfit or the Boiler Suit. You can find a Boiler Suit in a shed behind Victoria's house or you can craft one, as you start the game with the recipe for it. The Fireman's Outfit will also conform in the Village, however this recipe is acquired much later in the game as a quest reward. Some NPCs will always be hostile towards Ollie, such as the Uncle Jack Fan Club members (who can be identified by their bright red hats). These NPCs should be avoided using stealth or by finding alternate routes. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  6. Hi Maddi, We're sorry to hear you've experienced this issue. We have a few questions to ask in order to help narrow down what might be happening here: - Do you have the 'Future Perfect' mission in your quest journal? - Did you complete the mission 'Hostile Takeover' before the v1.4 update? - If possible, could you post screenshots or a video of what you're experiencing to help us troubleshoot the issue? Cheers, Lee
  7. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. There should be 4 masks. There is a known issue where the gas masks sometimes don't appear until you goto the tree after starting the quest and then reload your save game. After that they should appear. We plan to fix this in a future patch. Could you confirm if the masks are present in the following locations? I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  8. Hi there, We just released v1.4 on consoles as of last night (at midnight, central time). With the new update, are those quests fixed for you now? You should be seeing the objectives now and any safehouse quests stuck on the last objective should complete themselves. Cheers, Lee
  9. v1.4 mainly addressed crashes and major bug fixes. We will be looking at improving performance (fps) and memory issues in the next patch, v1.5. We're planning to release v1.5 in the next 2-3 weeks, however we don't have an exact date for it yet. The bug with Crazy Legs is a known issue we plan to address in a future patch. It may be included in v1.5, however it may be pushed to the patch after that. We're focusing on addressing performance and memory issues first. If you close and relaunch the game, does it fix the issue? There is a known bug on PS4 where audio may become corrupt after the application has been open for 2 hours or longer. We may also address this in patch v1.5, however it depends on how much time it takes for us to address other performance and memory issues, as those need to be addressed first. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  10. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. We are working on performance in future patches, however fps should be close to what it was in v1.3 on PC. If you are still encountering issues, we suggest updating your graphics card drivers. We recommend manually uninstalling your drivers and reinstalling them from scratch as sometimes drivers do not install properly over existing installations. The most recent drivers can be found here: Nvidia http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx AMD http://support.amd.com/en-us/download You may also want to verify the integrity of your game cache (Steam): The Steam download may not have completed successfully which can cause issues. How to Verify Integrity of Game Cache: 1. Open steam 2. Navigate to Library 3. Right-click on We Happy few 4. Select ‘Properties’ 5. Select ‘Local files’ 6. Select ‘Verify integrity of game cache…’ 7. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes. In regards to your settings being changed to Low, we have a graphics Auto-Detection tool which will apply Graphics settings based on your machines specifications. Some hardware configurations don't get detected properly though, and it's possible this is what happened here. If possible, could you send the following information to support@compulsiongames.com in order to help us troubleshoot the issue: - PC Specifications: 1. Press Windows + R 2. Paste: dxdiag 3. Press enter 4. Select ‘Save All Information…’ 5. Attach dxdiag.txt to email - Save Data: 1. Press Windows + R 2. Paste: \Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games 3. Press enter 4. Select 'We Happy Few' 5. Right Click on 'We Happy Few' and select 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) folder' 6. Attach We Happy Few.zip to email Cheers, Lee
  11. Hi there, Recipes are granted randomly as quest rewards or found on workbenches in shelters. If you don't see the Gas Mask recipe unlocked in your crafting menu, then you likely haven't unlocked the recipe yet. If you need a gas mask in the meantime, you can buy one from the Shady Dealer on Maidenholm. You can also find a gas mask sitting on a table in the Eel Pie Holm safehouse (in the ruined mansion where the 'Mastermind' quest happens) or in the St. George's Holm safehouse in a storage room. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  12. Storage space on your console's Hard Drive is different from console memory (RAM). The crashes are most often caused by dedicated memory getting too low. This will occur regardless of how much storage space is free on your Hard Drive. We are currently working on addressing low memory issues in the next patch, v1.5. Cheers, Lee
  13. Hi there, Both of these issues are addressed in the v1.4 patch: - Some safehouse quests not triggering when using a save created with the disc version of the game (without the day 1 patch) - The last objective for safehouse quests not completing if the last safe shelter save is loaded shortly afterwards. 1.4 is out on Steam now, and it will be coming to other platforms in the next few days. Full patch notes and more information can be found here: Cheers, Lee
  14. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you've experienced this issue. This is a known bug if you save and reload the game after completing the Model Citizen quest, but before collecting the reward. This issue is fixed in the v1.4 patch and it should fix your save if you're stuck in this state. 1.4 is out on Steam now, and it will be coming to other platforms in the next few days. Full patch notes and more information can be found here: Cheers, Lee
  15. Hi Aragon, You shouldn't have to restart to complete the quest. This issue is fixed in v1.4 and it will autocomplete the last objective if you have already flipped the track access switch. 1.4 is out on Steam now, and it will be coming to other platforms in the next few days. Full patch notes and more information can be found here: Cheers, Lee
  16. You will only need to restart if your main path quests are blocked by world generation or another specific issue. Most of the fixes are retroactive, however there are a few fixes that do require a new game, but only if you're unable to progress. Cheers, Lee
  17. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If you are on PS4 or Xbox One, you will likely have to load the 'Last Safe Shelter' save. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. This would have been created before entering the Butcher's house. When selecting your playthrough slot on the Main Menu, it's the second save from the top. With Patch 1.4 (upcoming), we are addressing major gameplay issues as well as various other crashes that can occur. This should improve build stability and includes a large number of bug fixes. We're aiming to release this patch in the next few days, however we don't have an exact date just yet. Cheers, Lee
  18. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. With Patch 1.4 (upcoming), we are addressing major gameplay issues as well as various other crashes that can occur. This should improve build stability and includes a large number of bug fixes. We're aiming to release this patch in the next few days, however we don't have an exact date just yet. Some fixes are for rare issues where the safehouse quests may not appear or clear from the journal properly. Cheers, Lee
  19. Hi there, Yes, there is a maximum to how much you can expand your inventory with Inventory Expansion Kits. Each of these raise your capacity by 20 lb. You can use a maximum of 3 on one character. Pocket Expansion Kits have no limit. Each of these raise your capacity by 2 lb. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  20. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known issue where some Xbox One X's rendering at 4k may shutdown from overheating when many particle effects are on screen at once. This is fixed in the v1.4 patch which we're aiming to release on all platforms in the next few days, however we don't have an exact date for it just yet. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  21. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known issue with the safehouse quests where sometimes the last objective will not complete, keeping the quest stuck in the journal. This is fixed in the v1.4 patch which we're aiming to release on all platforms in the next few days, however we don't have an exact date for it just yet. The patch will also auto-complete the objective if you've already flipped the switch, which will complete the quest. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  22. No worries ? We appreciate the kind words and understand the frustration that these kinds of issues in a game can cause. We want the community to experience We Happy Few at it's best, and we're hard at work to get it there. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Unfortunately we can't release individual bug fixes that way, however that issue is fixed in v1.4. You will not need to start a new game. Any objectives for the hatch switches will auto-complete if you have already flipped the power switch. Cheers, Lee
  23. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If you've synced your saves to Playstation Online Storage, you should be able to recover them from there. If you haven't used Online Storage, unfortunately you will need to start a new game in order to progress. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. This issue is due to the PS4 automatically flagging “crashing while saving” as data corruption, regardless of actual corruption. As a result, we are unable to restore “corrupted” saves. We apologize to all players who lost progression as a result. We have added a safe-guard in v1.3 to prevent the PS4 from saving the game while it is low on memory and stop the system from classifying these saves as corrupt. This issue can still occur with other crashes, but the number of corrupted saves should be substantially reduced. You can find the patch notes for v1.3 here: https://steamcommunity.com/games/320240/announcements/detail/1696055855737810531 We're planning to release patch v1.4 next Tuesday, however we don't have an exact date just yet. This will address major gameplay issues and various crashes, however it won't address the corrupt save issue completely. We're currently working on patch v1.5 to address memory and stability; in order to fully prevent cases of save data being flagged as corrupt. Cheers, Lee
  24. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This issue will be addressed in the v1.4 patch. We are planning to release this next Tuesday, however we don't have an exact date just yet. Cheers, Lee
  25. Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. This is an issue we're hoping to address in a future patch. Cheers, Lee
