  1. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known bug in the UWP version of the game. This is occurring because the UWP version of the game saves configuration data in a similar way to the Xbox One build. Since the Xbox One build doesn't save custom keybindings, the UWP version is also not saving them. We're planning to address this in the next patch. Unfortunately there is no current workaround for this issue aside from setting the keybinds each time the game is re-launched or using the default key bindings. We apologize for the inconvenience. Cheers, Lee
  2. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. The first thing we'd suggest trying if you have an XBox One, is the following: 1 - Boot the game on XBox One and start a new game as Arthur 2 - Complete the prologue and load into the tunnels 3 - Save and exit to main menu 4 - Check if you're able to load that save game (note your results down) 5 - Boot the game on PC and load the same save game 6 - Check if you're able to load that save game (note your results down) 7 - On PC, start a new game as Arthur 8 - Complete the prologue and load into the tunnels 9 - Save and exit to main menu 10 - Check if you're able to load that save game (note your results down) If the issue is occurring with new games created on Xbox One, then there is something very odd happening here. If the issue is only occurring with save games that were created or saved on PC, then you should read the information below: It's possible anti-virus or other programs running on your PC may be blocking the game from saving. We've had similar reports in the past and it was usually a third-party application such as Comodo Internet Security, BitDefender or other similar programs. If you add We Happy Few to the exceptions list of BitDefender or Windows Firewall, does that correct the problem? If that doesn't work, we'd suggest reviewing what programs running in the background may be causing this. Another thing you can try is running the game as Administrator and in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. You can set these by Right-Clicking the game shortcut and opening Properties > Compatibility If that doesn't work, please try the following: 1 - From your Windows desktop, press the Windows key + R together. 2 - Type in \Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\CompulsionGamesInc.WeHappyFew_eae46zy90r9xg\LocalState\My Games and press Enter 3 - Right-click the folder called 'We Happy Few' 4 - Goto Properties > Security tab > Edit (change permissions) 5 - For your user account, un-check 'Deny' on everything This should ensure the game has read/write access to the save folder. If the folder structure doesn't exist yet, create it and then follow step 3 onward. You should also confirm that the folder '\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\CompulsionGamesInc.WeHappyFew_eae46zy90r9xg\LocalState\My Games' is located on the same drive that the game is installed. For example, if the game is installed on the C drive, ensure your My Games folder is also located on the C drive. Some users with partitioned drives have had similar issues when these folders were not on the same drive. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee

  4. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Are you only playing the game on Xbox One, or are you also logging into your Microsoft account on PC using the UWP (Universal Windows Platform) version of the game? Cheers, Lee
  5. Hi Misti, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Is this the room filled with toxic gas where you need to redirect Motilene in order to power a door? If so, the video below shows the solution and where the 3 valves can be be found: Please let us know if this works for you. Cheers, Lee
  6. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. This is a known issue where the package can disappear when the player reloads a save game (or reloads a save after death) after picking up the package, but before delivering it. We're planning to address this in the next patch, which we plan to release in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, there's currently no workaround on PS4 or XB1. Some players have reported the package reappearing at the cart after travelling to other islands and returning later, however it is not guaranteed. Luckily this is not a main path story quest, and you should be able to progress Arthur's story in the meantime. Once the patch is released, you should be able to return and continue the Butcher quests. We apologize for the inconvenience. Cheers, Lee
  7. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and we apologize for the late reply. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, I would suggest trying the following: 1 - From the main menu, load a save game named 'Last Shelter Visited' (this is the save from the last time you entered a safehouse and you will lose some progress, but not all) 2 - Progress in the game and see if the crash or black screen issue still occurs The issue of loading into a black screen is a problem that can occur in some rare cases, especially if the game crashed previously. We don't have an exact date yet, but we will be releasing a patch on Xbox One (v1.6) in the coming weeks which will address stability and many other issues. If you need more immediate support our customer service team can be contacted at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > . Cheers, Lee
  8. Hi 2Zorru, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and apologize for the late reply. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, are you playing the game on a PS4 Base model or a PS4 Pro? It's possible this is a low memory crash. If you're crashing every time, I would suggest trying the following: 1 - Make a Manual Save of your current progress, so it doesn't get overwritten (Open the pause menu > Save Game) 2 - From the main menu, load a save game named 'Last Shelter Visited' (this is the save from the last time you entered a safehouse) 3 - Progress to the Wellington Health Institute 4 - See if the crash still occurs To help us troubleshoot the issue, you can also send us your We Happy Few save files: 1 - Ensure you have a USB Flash Drive formatted in FAT32 format 2 - Insert the USB Drive into your PS4 3 - Goto: Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device > We Happy Few > Select All > Copy 4 - Once the data has been transferred, insert your USB Flash Drive into your PC 5 - Open the PS4 folder 6 - Right Click on 'SAVEDATA' and select 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) folder' 7 - E-mail us at support@compulsiongames.com and attach SAVEDATA.zip to the email Cheers, Lee
  9. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and we apologize for the late reply. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, which platform are you currently playing on (Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PC, etc.)? If you reload your save game or travel to another island (such as the Garden District) and return to the Village during the day, does it resolve the issue? If you need more immediate support, our customer service team can be contacted at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > . Cheers, Lee
  10. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and we apologize for the late reply. Which platform are you currently playing on (Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PC, etc.)? The harvester itself may not visibly appear full when Arthur looks at it, however it should be collected at the end of the interaction animation. When you're sucking up the Motilene, are you holding the button down until the animation completes entirely (you can see the progress on the circle around the crosshair in the center of the screen)? Does reloading your save game resolve the issue and allow you to collect the Motilene? If possible, could you post a video showing what you're experiencing to help us troubleshoot the issue? If you need more immediate support, our customer service team can be contacted at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > . Cheers, Lee
  11. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  12. Thanks for the detailed feedback. I've shared this thread with the rest of the team. Cheers, Lee
  13. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing fps drops. Unfortunately fps can dip in some areas of the game, especially in the Village or Parade. Turning off V-Sync or lowering other settings, such as shadows, may help increase fps. Cheers, Lee
  14. Unfortunately, there's no workaround to bypass this issue unless you load an earlier save or start a new game. We're currently working on a patch to address remaining issues, such as this one. We don't have an exact date just yet, but we're planning to release it in February 2019 along with the Sandbox & Wellie Mode updates. In the meantime, you are able to continue with the main story. Cheers, Lee
  15. Hi there, We're currently planning to release the Sandbox Update in early 2019, however we don't have an exact date just yet. The first DLC will release shortly after that. We'll be sharing more information about those exact dates once the submission and release timings have been locked down. Cheers, Lee
  16. Thanks. We'll see if we can reproduce the issue. Edit: Using that worldSeed on Xbox One X, we were able to reproduce the issue you're seeing; we're teleported back into the shelter again when using the ladder. We'll be looking at fixing this in a future patch, however in the meantime you will need to use the track access hatch to exit the shelter on that save game. Cheers, Lee
  17. There is a known issue with bribing bobbies that are placed inside encounters; when bribing them the player becomes locked in place for a few seconds, the scotch is removed from the player's inventory, and the Bobby does not perform a drinking animation or stumble away. We are planning to address this in a future patch. Bobbies that spawn and patrol in the streets can be bribed and it functions properly though. Please let us know if the behavior you're experiencing is different from what I mentioned above. It's possible this is an issue caused by world generation, where a piece of collision or sloped terrain is blocking the player spawn location on the surface above. If possible, could you send us your WorldSeed? This can be found on the pause menu and looks like this: WS:0D3055FE230A1217001700C716BD0B5F A screenshot of your pause menu would also work. Cheers, Lee
  18. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. What exit are you unable to use; is it the ladder that you entered through? If so, is the ladder not showing an interaction when you look at it? If you look up at the ladder, does the interaction appear? If that's not what you're encountering, could you provide some more information about what you're experiencing to help us troubleshoot the issue? Screenshots or a video of what you're seeing would also help. Cheers, Lee
  19. This sounds like a known issue where the Future Perfect quest may not trigger when exiting Hostile Takeover. We've fixed the issue in patch v1.4. If the NPCs who trigger the quest (the Doctor and the Wellette outside Hostile Takeover) are still alive in your game, you can try walking through the doors again to trigger the conversation. If the conversation doesn't trigger, then I'm afraid the quest will not trigger on that save game and you will have to load an earlier save, before exiting Hostile Takeover, or start a new game. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. If you're still encountering issues, you can contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  20. Thanks for the information. Do you know what version of the game you were running when you originally triggered the conversation and do you know which version of the game you're running now? Cheers, Lee
  21. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. If you're still encountering issues, please file a ticket with our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  22. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you've experienced this issue. Could you answer a few questions to help us troubleshoot the issue? - What is the current active objective for the 'Future Perfect' quest? - When you track the quest, is there an objective marker showing on screen? If so, what is it pointing to? - Have you picked up all 3 parts ('Valve Handle', 'Electrowave Battery', and 'Hotflash Nozzle')? If possible, could you post screenshots of your quest journal and inventory quest items category? A video of what you're seeing would also help us. Cheers, Lee
  23. Hi there, Are you playing as Arthur? If so, do you have a quest in your journal called 'Future Perfect'? You need to complete that quest and one more called 'A Malpractice of Doctors' before you can enter the Broadcast Tower. There is a video here showing you when the Future Perfect quest triggers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn4jMx41-VE Cheers, Lee
  24. We've logged an issue for it and will look into fixing it in a future patch when we next update the credits. This may only occur when we release the sandbox update later this year. Cheers, Lee
  25. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is very likely due to memory running out on the console. Because the game is quite large, and world generation can drastically change memory usage, some users are encountering crashes from low memory on the regular base Xbox One and PS4 consoles. In Patch 1.3 we added a failsafe to prevent the game from saving while free memory is too low and addressed some of the more common crashes in the game, however it does not solve the problem fully. With Patch 1.4, we are addressed major gameplay issues as well as various other crashes that can occur. This improved build stability and includes a large number of bug fixes. With Patch 1.5, we will be focusing on optimizing memory for the base consoles to try and fix these crashes fully. This is the patch that will very likely address the issues you've been experiencing. We're planning to release this patch around the end of next week, however we don't have an exact date just yet. If you're still encountering issues, please file a ticket with our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
