  1. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues. You can contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  2. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known low memory crash (RAM) which can occur on some PS4 save games. The World Generation system can create unpredictable worlds, and some of these are laid out in ways which may use up too much memory in certain areas of the game. Issues like this can occur rarely for some players, especially on the PS4 and XB1 base consoles. We're looking at addressing issues like this for the next patch (v1.7), but that won't be coming out for some weeks. The crash occurs most often when dying inside the Health Institute and reloading your save game. Sometimes it will crash when you exit the health institute. Unfortunately, there is no specific workaround for this issue. In the meantime, you can start a new game with a new worldseed, or attempt to complete the Health Institute without dying. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. You can also contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers, Lee
  3. Thanks for the information. It seems like an issue triggered by getting the Baby Feeder too early, as players usually get the Baby Feeder later in the game. I tried reproducing the issue on my side, but I'm still able to feed Gwen. If possible, could you send us you save game? This will allow us to investigate what's happening more in depth. To do so: 1 - Press Windows + R 2 - Paste: \Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games 3 - Press enter 4 - Select 'We Happy Few' 5 - Right Click on 'We Happy Few' and select 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) folder' 6 - Email us at support@compulsiongames.com and attach We Happy Few.zip Please mention this forum thread in the e-mail. Cheers, Lee
  4. This is a known bug that can occur when returning to the pump during a specific state of the quest. Saving and reloading the game should fix it, which appears to have worked for you. Thanks for reporting the issue. 😄 Cheers, Lee
  5. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. To help me understand the issue a bit better, could you answer a couple of questions? - What platform are you playing on (PC, PS4, XB1)? I'm guessing PC? - It sounds like you can only pickup the baby (to get the buff) and you have no interaction to install the Baby Feeder? - Are you blocked from progressing the story because you can't install the Baby Feeder? If so, which story quest are you blocked at? - Could you attach screenshots or video of what you're experiencing? Screenshots of your quest journal and active objectives will help as well. Cheers, Lee
  6. Unfortunately most optimization work on the game has been completed at this stage as any improvements would require a complete overhaul of the game's framework, which was laid out during Kickstarter / early access development. As a result there isn't much more we can do to improve fps within the game itself. I've included some links below related to improving FPS in We Happy Few: https://www.chaoshour.com/games/fixes/we-happy-few-frame-rate-fps-drop-boost-guide/ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731997251 I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  7. Hi there, We're glad to hear you're enjoying the game, but also sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known issue where the quest can trigger again once it's been completed. There is no way to complete the quest a second time and the issue should only affect the player journal. We're planning to address this in the next patch, so the quest stays completed. Unfortunately we don't have an exact date for it just yet. Cheers, Lee
  8. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Do you know if your game crashed or your console shutdown abruptly at any point during your playthrough? This is a known issue that can occur on PS4 if a user's game crashes or hangs when a collectible has been recently acquired. Essentially the game itself saves, but the achievement didn't update in the user profile. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to identify which collectible is missing from the achievement and the only workaround is to collect the items again on a new game. I'm sorry to have to tell you this and apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Cheers, Lee
  9. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. This is a known save compatibility issue in the latest patch. It only occurs in save games which were created in an earlier version of the game with the Speaker's Corner quest already active. Unfortunately there is currently no workaround aside from loading an earlier save before the quest was started. You should still be able to progress Arthur's main story however. We're planning to address this issue in the next patch (v1.7), however we don't have an exact date just yet. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Cheers, Lee
  10. Hi there, This is a known issue on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The game can be resource intensive and textures may not stream in quickly enough, especially in the Village and Parade districts. The issue shouldn't be as noticeable on the Xbox One X compared to the Xbox One Base, but it can occur. Unfortunately we don't have immediate workaround at this time. We're hoping to address issues like this in the next patch, however we don't have specific details on that just yet. Cheers, Lee
  11. Hi there, FPS has been improved since launch, however the game can still be resource intensive in the Village and Parade districts. We've recently released v1.6 which should have improved performance slightly. If you're not seeing a difference, lowering some settings should help. Lowering shadows and/or V-Sync can give a noticeable improvement. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  12. Hi there, We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. It's possible there is a step when investigating the machines which is unclear. This video shows what should happen during this part of the quest and how to proceed: https://youtu.be/sn4jMx41-VE?t=242 If you're still not able to progress or what you're experiencing is different from that video, could you post screenshots of your quest journal or a video of what you're experiencing to help us troubleshoot the issue? Cheers, Lee
  13. Thanks for that and I apologize for the late reply. This could be a known issue where the Future Perfect quest may not trigger when exiting Hostile Takeover. We fixed the issue in v1.4, however if you're playing on an older version or the save game was created before this patch, it's possible it can still occur. If the NPCs who trigger the quest (the Doctor and the Wellette outside Hostile Takeover) are still alive in your game, then the patch should fix your save game and you should be able to trigger the quest. If not, then unfortunately you will have to load an earlier save, before exiting Hostile Takeover, or start a new game. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. There is a video here showing when the quest should normally trigger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn4jMx41-VE In your save game, you will first want to try walking through the doors and triggering the conversation that happens at the beginning of the video. If the NPCs are still present in the world, then the conversation should trigger. If not, then I'm afraid the quest will not trigger on that save game. If you need to load an older save, there should be a save game called 'Last Shelter Visited' (second from the top in the save game list). This save would have been created the last time you entered a safe shelter. You can also contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  14. Hi there, We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue and I apologize for the late reply. When you were playing the 'Future Perfect' quest, did you speak with the director inside his office after you blow a hole in the wall? Once you speak with him, he gives you an item called a Frammistat and the next quest triggers (A Malpractice of Doctors). You can see this portion of the quest in the following video: https://youtu.be/sn4jMx41-VE?t=903 If you didn't previously speak to the director, you may need to return to the Arkwright building and speak to him. Cheers, Lee
  15. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you experienced this issue. Individual saves within a playthrough cannot be deleted, but the entire playthrough slot can be. This is communicated in the confirmation prompt which appears when you press Delete. Pressing Enter again will confirm the action. For the save games which were deleted, were they all in the same playthrough slot or were they all from different playthroughs? Also, do you know what version of the game you're playing? You can see this in the bottom right of the pause menu. Cheers, Lee
  16. We're sorry to hear that We will investigate the issue on our side. In the meantime, you can also contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. Be sure to share this forum thread URL in your ticket, as that will help them troubleshoot your issue. Cheers, Lee
  17. Hi Kris, We're sorry to hear that you're encountering this issue. Do you know if your character has any lockpicks in their inventory? These will have to be in the character's inventory and not the pneumatic stash, as lockpicks cannot be used from the stash. If you only have bobby pins, try crafting a lockpick through the crafting menu and see if you're able to pick the lock. If that doesn't work, then we'll need some more information to help troubleshoot the problem. If possible, could you send us your game save? This will allow us to load the save game and look into what's happening. The steps on how to do this can be found below: 1 - Ensure you have a USB Flash Drive formatted in FAT32 format 2 - Insert the USB Drive into your Playstation 3 - Goto: Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device > We Happy Few > Select All > Copy 4 - Once the data has been transferred, insert your USB Flash Drive into your PC 5 - Open the PS4 folder 6 - Right Click on 'SAVEDATA' and select 'Send to' > 'Compressed (Zipped) folder' 7 - E-mail us at support@compulsiongames.com and attach SAVEDATA.zip to the email Unfortunately, the studio is closed over the weekend and the earliest we will be able to look at the save data will be on Monday, EST time. If you need more immediate support, you can also contact our support team at < https://gearboxsoftware.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new > and they'll get back to you as soon as possible. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  18. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. It looks like Windows 10 is updated to the latest version (1809). If restarting your computer doesn't solve the issue, there are a few other things we can try to troubleshoot the issue. It's possible anti-virus or other programs running on your computer may be blocking the game from saving. We've had similar reports in the past and it was usually a third-party application such as Comodo Internet Security, BitDefender or other similar programs. If you add We Happy Few to the exceptions list of your anti-virus or Windows Firewall, does that correct the problem? If that doesn't work, we'd suggest reviewing what programs running in the background may be causing this. Another thing you can try is running the game as Administrator and in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. You can set these by Right-Clicking the game shortcut and opening Properties > Compatibility If that doesn't work, please try the following: 1 - From your Windows desktop, press the Windows key + R together. 2 - Type in \Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\CompulsionGamesInc.WeHappyFew_eae46zy90r9xg\LocalState\My Games and press Enter 3 - Right-click the folder called 'We Happy Few' 4 - Goto Properties > Security tab > Edit (change permissions) 5 - For your user account, un-check 'Deny' on everything This should ensure the game has read/write access to the save folder. If the folder structure doesn't exist yet, create it and then follow step 3 onward. You should also confirm that the folder \Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\CompulsionGamesInc.WeHappyFew_eae46zy90r9xg\LocalState\My Games is located on the same drive that the game is installed. For example, if the game is installed on the C drive, ensure your My Games folder is also located on the C drive. Some users with partitioned drives have had similar issues when these folders were not on the same drive. If none of the above addresses the issue, there are some steps you can follow here in regards to similar issues with Xbox Live services: https://windowsreport.com/unable-to-sign-in-xbox-account-windows-10/ I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
  19. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. There are a few quests related to Letter of Transit in the Parade District. Are you stuck at a point inside the Wellington Health Institute, or is the issue occurring earlier than that? To help us troubleshoot the issue, could you attach a video or screenshots of what you're experiencing? Screenshots or a picture of your quest journal would also be helpful. Cheers, Lee
  20. Hi there, We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Do you know if the quest 'A Model Citizen' is Completed or Failed? If it Failed, it would be highlighted red in the journal. There is a known issue where activating this shelter after failing the associated quest will not count towards the achievement. If this is the case, reloading an earlier save or starting a new game and completing the quest should allow you to unlock the achievement. Cheers, Lee
  21. There has been no patch, it seems the issue simply didn't trigger on the new playthrough. It's possible playing the game immediately after a fresh install may have something to do with it, but we can't confirm that just yet. We'll be using that information to help us narrow the issue down though. Cheers, Lee
  22. Thanks for the information. This is a known bug where in very rare cases games are not being saved correctly, which prevents saves from that slot being loaded. We're currently looking into what's causing this and are planning to address it in a future patch. Do you know if you loaded any save games before the issue started occurring, or was the first time the issue occurred when you attempted to load a save game in that playthrough for the first time? Unfortunately we don't have a workaround yet which will allow you to load the affected save files. In the meantime, we would suggest doing the following: 1 - Start a new game in another slot 2 - Complete Arthur's prologue in City Hall 3 - Once you load into the tunnels, save your game 4 - Quit to main menu and check if you can load the save If you can load this save then you will be able to use the new playthrough to progress. Cheers, Lee

  25. Hi there, Moonjuice Leech is a side quest and depending on the procedural generation for your world, it may or may not spawn. I hope this helps. Cheers, Lee
